Welcome to our Teen/YA Summer Reading Program
For ages 12 through 18 years.
We will we meet weekly, each Tuesday afternoon at 4pm for adventures and fun! There are also two special programs that everyone in our Summer Reading Program is invited to.
- June 11th: Creative Adventures
- June 18th: Adventures in Science
- June 25th: Outdoor Adventures
- July 9th Travel Adventures
Our teens can also participate in a Summer Long Reading Challenge that starts on June 1st and ends on August 31st. Stop into the Library to grab your Passport Book, no sign-up required. Then start reading as you explore your way through the Pa Wilds!
Each time you finish a challenge, write down what you’ve read, then stop into the library to collect a sticker that corresponds with that state. Every sticker you collect is an entry into our Grand Prize drawing.
All stickers must be collected no later by 6pm on September 3rd (we’re closed on Aug 31st!).
Receive extra entries for our prize by attending any program listed above.

Come meet Smokey the Bear! Smokey turns 80 this year and will be joining us down in the park to kick off our main Summer Reading Program.
Wednesday, July 18th at 5pm.
Party Time! Come celebrate all the reading you’ve accomplished this summer. Hosted by the Headwaters Association
