DCNR Nature Story and Science Hour
February 22 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Bring the family out to the Genesee Public Library on Saturday, February 22, for two nature-based story times!
From 11 AM – 11:30 AM, it’s preschool story time. Read aloud stories about animals in winter, sing songs about winter animals, and make a craft to take home. Best for kids under 6 years old, but siblings welcome.
Then, school-aged kids are welcome at our Stories and Science story time from 12 PM – 1 PM. We’ll read aloud stories about animals surviving the winter, do some fun experiments to figure out how they thrive, and make a craft to take home. Best for youth ages 6 – 10, but siblings welcome.
We’ll be reading Over and Under the Snow by Kate Messner, Hibernation by Margaret Hall, and Snack, Snooze, Skedaddle by Laura Purdie Salas.
