Genesee Area Library’s first responsibility is to ensure the safety of our employees, volunteers, patrons, and our community. Covid-19 is a serious, life-threatening disease that has infected millions of people worldwide and continues to pose a threat. Genesee Area Library strives to take necessary precautions to protect our employees, volunteers, and patrons from becoming infected as we continue to serve our community including wearing masks, social distancing, and the use of hand sanitizers.
Anyone entering the Genesee Area Library must wear a mask if they are not currently completely vaccinated against Covid-19. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided for you.
All patrons are asked to sanitize their hands before browsing books or using computers. Sanitizers can be found throughout the library. In addition, disposable gloves will be provided for those who chose to wear them.
All materials will be quarantined for no less than 48 hours after being returned to the library.
