PA Forward Gold Star Library

Genesee Area Library has achieved Gold Star status in the Pennsylvania Library Association’s Star Library Program. The Star Library Program is a statewide initiative to redefine the libraries role in our Commonwealth. There are five literacies which we hope assist all Pennsylvanians to master. The five literacies are basic, information, financial, and civic and social and health.

 

Genesee Area Library was first award Gold Star Status in 2016, and continues to achieve gold status each year.
