YA and Adult Summer Reading

We are once again offering a Young Adult/Teen and Adult Summer Reading contest. This year’s theme is “All Together Now,” and our program will run from June 28th until August 28th.

In order to participate, please use the signup form below, then print the map for your age group or stop into the library and we will print one for you.

How to participate:

Work your way through the trail, collecting points. Earn points by completing the activities listed on the back that are good for you, your loved ones and the community. Each box equals one point, so if you complete an item that is worth five (5) points, you would color in five (5) boxes. Once you have complete your trail and found your way to the crown, stop into the library to collect your prizes and fill out your raffle tickets.

Want to earn extra raffle tickets? Here’s how:

Get an extra ticket just for signing up to our Summer Reading Challenge. (Use the form below, or stop into the library.)
Teens get an extra ticket for every five (5) items you check out between June 28th and August 28th (limit of 3 extra tickets)
Adults get an extra ticket for every 10 (10) items you check out between June 28th and August 28th (limit of 3 extra tickets)
Get an extra ticket for answering the trivia questions in our July and August Newsletters. (Two (2) tickets possible). If you need to signup for our Newsletter, you can do so by clicking here.

Extra tickets can be used for any of the raffle prizes listed in your age group.

Grand Prize:

There are a total of four (4) grand prize baskets, two (2) for Adults and two (2) for ya/teens. Each basket contains an assortment of books, a beautiful tote bag, a reading log book, set of colored pens to use with your reading log book, and leather heart bookmark(s). The adult baskets also contain a coffee/tea mug with gold accents and two chocolate bars. The ya/teen baskets also contain an Edison Robot, magnetic pen set, two library pins, and of course, SNACKS!
